...A SEVERE THUNDERSTORM WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 1230 PM CDT

FOR NORTHEASTERN CLARKE COUNTY...



At 1204 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm was located over Sykes, or 10

miles east of Quitman, moving east at 50 mph.



HAZARD...60 mph wind gusts and quarter size hail.



SOURCE...Radar indicated.



IMPACT...Hail damage to vehicles is expected. Expect wind damage to 

         roofs, siding, and trees.



This severe thunderstorm will remain over mainly rural areas of

northeastern Clarke County.

The National Weather Service in Tallahassee has issued a



* Special Marine Warning for...

  Coastal waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach out

  20 NM...

  Waters from Okaloosa-Walton County Line to Mexico Beach from 20 to

  60 NM...



* Until 215 PM CDT.



* At 1246 PM CDT, a severe thunderstorm capable of producing

  waterspouts was located 11 nm east of Okaloosa Deep Water Reef, or

  22 nm south of Santa Rosa Beach, moving northeast at 30 knots.



  HAZARD...Waterspouts, wind gusts 34 knots or greater, and large 

           hail.



  SOURCE...Radar indicated.



  IMPACT...Waterspouts can quickly form and capsize boats...damage 

           vessels...and create suddenly higher waves. Make sure all 

           on board are in a secure location and wearing life 

           jackets. Expect wind gusts in excess of 34 

           knots...suddenly higher waves...frequent lightning...and 

           heavy downpours. Make sure all on board are wearing life 

           jackets. Large hail could result in injury and damage to 

           boats and vessels.

  Panama City Beach and Laguna Beach.
